"The Meadow house"refers to traditional Polish wooden architectural buildings such as barns. This form is very popular and a kind of icon of this region. "The Meadow house" is a modern version of this form. The house situated in the landscape was based on the idea that the form accessible to every user of the space was not isolated from the local scenery and was not so unfamiliar. That is why a barn with its proportions and shape was a starting point of this design.It was decided to divide the building into two parts, two plans. The first part called the floor 0 is the building situated in the center of the meadow with a gabled roof.The second part is partially earth-sheltered which is visible when you come closer to the building. It is the most characteristic element of this house in which two separated parts make this intrigued connection.
